Sigfus provided excellent services and even met with us on our first day in Iceland. Our trip to Iceland with Nordic Visitor met all our expectations. We had a wonderful trip, due in large part to the maps and suggestions provided in our materials. Both the tour and the extra services we booked were well organised and thoroughly enjoyable. The mobile phone was a very thoughtful inclusion, and allowed us to (for example) easily call a taxi after we dropped off the rental car - very welcome on a cold night.
The only regret we have is that we did not have more time available to stay longer. Your services were first class, and reasonably priced. My entire experience was incredible. The hotels were perfect and I will definitely use Nordic Visitor again. All of the guesthouses provided pleasant, excellent services. They were all uniquely different from one another, as well. It was a wonderful experience for me, as it was my first truly international trip outside of the United States.
Iceland is a beautiful, welcoming, magical place. Excellent diversity in accommodations -- upscale hotel to farmer's guesthouse -- gave a great sense of what the country is all about. Were also very pleased to visit the Nordic Visitor office in Reykjavik on the last day, before we departed. Did a video interview and shared some ideas.
It was very nice to personally visit the staff, who were all very friendly. Fantastic experience and thank you very much for helping out. Erna Run was a great advisor.

One of my booked tours was cancelled due to weather and she managed to get me in another similar tour right away on the next day. Everything was great, the hotels, food and tours were all good. The best hotel that we stayed are the ones with the hot tub in the garden, we were so tired from hiking all day and from being cold, the hot water in the evening was very welcomed. Iceland is very beautiful and we love the whole time we were there. You can also list all of your clusters.
That is, no special scaling is used. With this argument you can pick your own scaling for each field. This will make it easy for you do things like balancing age and salary, but then request that age be twice as important. This can be used to change the names of the fields in the cluster with respect to the original names in the dataset or to tell BigML that certain fields should be preferred.
All the fields in the dataset Specifies the fields to be considered to create the clusters. Must be null or a number greater than or equal to 1 and less than or equal to 300. Each model predicts whether or not an instance is part of its respective cluster. Example: true name optional String, default is dataset's name The name you want to give to the new cluster.
The range of successive instances to build the cluster. It selects the norm to minimize when regularizing the solution. Regularizing with respect to the l1 norm causes more coefficients to be zero, and using the l2 norm forces the magnitudes of all coefficients towards zero.
Example: l1 replacement optional Boolean, default is false Whether sampling should be performed with or without replacement.
You can use either field identifiers or field names. Example: "000004" You can also use curl to customize a new cluster. Once a cluster has been successfully created it will have the following properties. Creating a cluster is a process that can take just a few seconds or a few days depending on the size of the dataset used as input and on the workload of BigML's systems. The cluster goes through a number of states until its fully completed.
Through the status field in the cluster you can determine when the cluster has been fully processed and ready to be used to create predictions. Thus when retrieving a cluster, it's possible to specify that only a subset of fields be retrieved, by using any combination of the following parameters in the query string (unrecognized parameters are ignored): Fields Filter Parameters Parameter TypeDescription fields optional Comma-separated list A comma-separated list of field IDs to retrieve.
Each centroid has associated a pre-computed dataset that has been created using all the instances in the neighborhood. Each model separates between those instances that belong to the centroid neighborhood and those that belong to other neighborhoods.
Once you delete a cluster, it is permanently deleted. If you try to delete a cluster a second time, or a cluster that does not exist, you will receive a "404 not found" response. However, if you try to delete a cluster that is being used at the moment, then BigML.
To list all the clusters, you can use the cluster base URL. By default, only the 20 most recent clusters will be returned. You can get your list of clusters directly in your browser using your own username and API key with the following links. You can also paginate, filter, and order your clusters. Anomaly Detectors Last Updated: Monday, 2017-10-30 10:31 Anomaly detectors can be applied to a variety of domains like fraud detection, security, quality control, medicine, etc.
BigML anomaly detectors are built using an unsupervised anomaly detection technique. Therefore, you do not need to explicitly label each instance in your dataset as "normal" or "abnormal".
When you create a new anomaly detector, it automatically returns an anomaly score for the top n most anomalous instances.
The newly created anomaly detector can also be used to later create anomaly scores for new data points or batch anomaly scores for all the instances of a dataset. You can also list all of your anomaly detectors. This can be used to change the names of the fields in the anomaly detector with respect to the original names in the dataset or to tell BigML that certain fields should be preferred. Must be a number greater than or equal to 2 and less than or equal to 1000 (or 16 in development mode).
All the fields in the dataset Specifies the fields to be considered to create the anomaly detector.Race PropsRace props will be settled on official NASCAR results. QualifyingQualifying match-ups are based on qualifying times (quickest times) and not the starting line-up.

I also was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly all the logistical "on-line" issues went.
I have already signed up for another courseI like the format of those courses. There is a lot to learn, but it's concentrated on the key points. For somebody working full time it beats a semester-long course. Great pace to the course, nice and concise within 3 weeks, enjoyed the discussions, HW was not too intense and time consumingIt will help me to better understand the methods behind statistical analysis used for conducting research and publishing data. I enjoyed the course. It's really convenient to do assignments on my own time.
As always, professor Everson always provides nice feedback and suggestions to help understand the concepts very well. I hope to take up lot of other courses which she teaches.
I am looking forward to many other courses along the way. All of the courses I have taken through Statistics. I learned more in the past 6 weeks than I did taking a full semester of statistics in college, and 10 weeks of statistics in graduate schoolI really like the Statistics. Just before I signed up for the first course, I had tried to work my way through a couple of different textbooks, and just could not get anything out of them.
With this class the clear discussion text, relevant assignment problems, and instructor feedback made it easy to learn.Root Tabs for Aquarium Plants – Which is Best?
Meena Badade is great at answering student questions with very clear explanations, and Poonam provides excellent feedback on the homework assignments. Thank you both for a great course.
Really solid review of early college level statistics, done in a fairly efficient and practical matter with applications that help to solidify one's understanding of the material. Good preparatory work for the PASS program. I now have a better understanding of the foundations of the statistics covered in this module. Although I was familiar with the terms, I now feel more comfortable with discussing the topic. I think the accompanying course text and the support online has been great.
I found the course text easy to follow and the in text examples are a good way to test understanding of what you learn as you work through the text.

I enjoyed the course thoroughly. The question-answer sessions (discussions) were really helpful in understanding the concept. I have definitely gained a lot of knowledge about microarray analysis. Both the instructor and TA were exceptionally prompt in their responses to queries.
The comments and suggestions were on point. Thank you for an enjoyable, informative courseI learned a lot of short cuts that I will be grateful to use. I think the instructor and the assistant instructor were great. This course gave me a solid background on structure of databases and how to use SQL statements to query a databaseThis was the first class I've taken in a long time, the first online course I've ever taken, and my first statsics.
I found it very easy to navigate and was pleasantly surprised at how involved the instructor was in the online discussion. Wow, I think he is the most hands-on instructor that I've had in the whole PASS program.
He truly cares about giving feedback for every student and every thought. That is rare, special and positively remarkable. I truly appreciated it and I'd love to see more courses from Mr. Unwin and spatial analysis--we would all benefit from itDave was a fantastic instructor. If the Compatibility View box is checked, click to remove checkmark.
